Before using www.intergift.co.uk we would really like you to read these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) as operated by us.

Throughout these Terms and Conditions “we/our/us/service/website” refers to www.intergift.co.uk.

www.intergift.co.uk  is an online service selling gifts.

(3) Acceptance

Your access to and use of our website is conditioned on your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms. These Terms apply to all visitors, users and others who access or use the service.

By accessing or using www.intergift.co.uk you agree to be bound by these Terms and any subsequent revisions. If you disagree with any part of the Terms then please do not use this service.

To register and use this service you must be 18 years of age and over.

We may not accept or process your order if:

  • we deem it illegal, obscene, offensive, pornographic or defamatory
  • you have ordered alcoholic products and we believe you are less than 18 years of age
  • you have ordered alcoholic products to be sent to someone less than 18 years of age
  • we do not receive payment
  • if we are unable to get authorisation for your payment
  • there has been an error in our pricing or description
  • the ordered items are out of stock


(3) Registration

By registering with www.intergift.co.uk you are:

  • confirming that you are 18 years of age and over
  • agreeing not to create any personalised items intended to infringe copyright or to abuse, intimidate, threaten or harass anyone

You are not permitted to share your account with another person or group(s).

If you believe someone else has taken control of your account please inform us immediately.

Your submission of your personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy.


(4) Our products

All items are available whilst stocks last.

Whilst we make every effort to accurately photograph and describe our products there maybe discrepancies in colours, sizes, weights.

Product colours may vary from the display shown on electronic devices.

Packaging may vary from the website images.

In the event that one of the components of a gift box is unavailable we may substitute this item with something similar to the same or greater value than the original, without notice. Where this is not possible we will contact you to make alternative arrangements.

 

(5) Your order

To order a gift from us follow the step-by-step process on our website.

An order is deemed real when your payment details have been submitted and authorised.

Once your payment has been authorised we will send you an Order Confirmation email with a unique order number for your reference and our reference.

 

(6) Payment

All prices are quoted in British Sterling (£) and are inclusive of UK sales tax (VAT) at the present rate. The current rate of VAT is 20%.

All payments must be made in British Sterling (£). We currently accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Switch, Solo, Delta and Electron. Customer payments by credit card from outside the UK will be invoiced in British Sterling (£) at the rates prevailing at the time the order is placed.

Whilst InterGift is happy to deliver internationally, customers are liable for any local taxes or import duties incurred as a result of delivering to international destinations.

(7) Delivery

Please be accurate when entering your details and the recipient’s address and be sure to include their postcode.

If you enter the delivery address incorrectly we are not liable for gifts that go unreceived.

We will deliver your gift to the UK mainland, the Isle of Man, Channel Islands and Eire. If you require delivery outside the UK, Isle of Man, Channel Islands or Eire you must call us on 01733 842404 to confirm the correct prices & delivery charges that apply.

Please take into consideration extreme weather, acts of God, postal strikes, bank holidays, peak times – anything out of our control that may affect the delivery of your order.

If you want to send more than 1 package to the same or different addresses, please enter these as separate orders.

We will send you an email with tracking information when your order is dispatched from our premises.

Our readymade Letterbox gifts are packaged in a box designed to fit through the standard UK letterbox. The dimensions of the box are: 2.5cm H x 27cm W x 17.8cm D.

If your order has not arrived on the specified date, please allow 3 days then contact us.

(8) Order amendments, cancellations and refunds

If you wish to amend an order please contact us during our business hours (Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm) and we will do our best to meet your requests. If an order has already been processed this will not be possible.

If you wish to cancel an order, please contact us by email or phone during our business hours (Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm). If the order has not been processed or dispatched we will issue you a full refund. You cannot cancel your order if:

  • The goods are perishable
  • The seal has been broken on any of the goods
  • The goods have been personalised in any way
  • The goods have been handled to the extent that their value has been degraded

We have the right to cancel any order at any time. In this instance we will contact you and issue a full refund.

If you wish to cancel an order that has already been dispatched we ask that you return the goods to us. The cost of return postage is your responsibility. Once received, we will then issue a full product refund including the original postage cost at the most basic rate (e.g. if you specified an enhanced delivery service we are only obliged to refund you postage at the most basic rate).

If you are eligible for a refund you will be reimbursed via the original method of payment.

 

(9) Complaints and returns

At InterGift we aim to provide 100% satisfaction to our customers. These terms do not affect your statutory rights.

If you think our goods are faulty, broken, incomplete or not as described please contact us by email or phone during our business hours (Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm) and we will work hard to rectify the situation.

If you return an unwanted order where the price was discounted you will only be refunded the amount you paid.

Whilst great care is taken to get every order correct we may make the occasional mistake. If you think we have made an error with your order please contact us as soon as possible by email or phone during business hours (Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm) and we will do our very best to rectify the situation.

(10) Reviews and testimonials

If you submit a review or testimonial to www.intergift.co.uk then you agree that we may publish your testimonial with your name on this website.

InterGift may edit your text and publish edited or partial versions. However, we will never distort the view of the testimonial.

www.intergift.co.uk is owned by InterGift Group Ltd. Original content, logos, features and functionality are owned by InterGift and are protected by international copyright, trademark and other intellectual property or proprietary rights laws.

The copying, modification, reproduction or incorporation of part or all of the material on this website in any form is prohibited with the sole exception that you may print and download extracts for the purpose of using this website or placing an order with InterGift.

When you submit an enquiry via our website

 

When you submit an enquiry via our website, we ask you for your name, contact telephone number and email address.

We use this information to respond to your query, including providing you with any requested information about our products and services. We may also email you several times after your enquiry in order to follow up on your interest and ensure that we have answered it to your satisfaction. We will do this based on our legitimate interest in providing accurate information prior to a sale.

Your enquiry is stored and processed as an email which is hosted by Microsoft, it is also logged on a CRM system on a cloud server both are within the European Economic Area (EEA).

We do not use the information you provide to make any automated decisions that might affect you.

We keep enquiry emails for 12 months, after which they are securely archived and kept for 7 years, when we delete them. CRM records are kept for 3 years after the last contact with you.

When you purchase a product from our website

When you purchase products from us online, we ask you for your name (and the recipients’), address, contact telephone number, email address and credit card information, demographic information such as postcode, preferences and interests or other information relevant to customer surveys and/or offers that we believe are of legitimate interest. We also record your IP (Internet Protocol) address, which is the address of your computer on the Internet.

We will use your information to verify your credit card details for your purchase, process your order and to send you your products. We will also send you a receipt via email and we may use your telephone number to contact you regarding your purchase.

We require this information in order to process your payment, deliver your products or services and fulfil our contract with you. We record your IP address in order to show that the correct tax was applied to the sale, which we are required to do by law.

We may use this information to contact you relating to the products or services to assist with future purchases, this includes latest products and special offers that we believe will be of legitimate interest.

Your information is stored on our website and on our cloud server, both of which are based within the European Union. Your credit card details are passed to one of our third-party payment processors which are based in the European Union and or the USA and is certified to the EU-US Privacy Shield (which requires effective safeguards for your information). We do not retain your credit card information.

We do not use the information you provide to make any automated decisions that might affect you.

We keep your order information for three years after this it will be archived and stored for up to seven years.

When you sign up to receive our newsletter

When you sign up to receive our newsletter, we ask for your name and your email address and demographic information such as postcode, preferences and interests or other information relevant to customer surveys and/or offers.

We will ask for your consent to use your name and email address to email you our newsletter which contains information about our products and other information which we feel might be of interest to you.

You can withdraw your consent at any time and we will stop sending you the newsletter.

Your name and email address are shared with a third party mailing system known as MailChimp who participates in and has certified its compliance with the EU-U.S. Privacy Shield. This company has contractually committed to providing appropriate safeguards for your personal data which means it will be protected in line with the legal requirements of the European Union.

We do not use the information you provide to make any automated decisions that might affect you.

We keep your personal data for as long as we produce and distribute our newsletter. If you withdraw your consent, we will mark your details so that they are not used and delete them after two years.

 

When you submit a review about us

When you submit a review about us we record your name, your email address and your IP address (Internet Protocol), which is the address of your computer on the Internet.

We use this information to provide verified independent views about our products and services to potential customers. Your name and the content of your review (but not your email address or IP address) may be publicly displayed on our website. We will do this based on our legitimate interest in marketing our products and services.

Your details are shared with a third party reviews system which is based within the European Economic Area (EEA).

Your personal data is stored for as long as we are marketing the product or services that the review refers to, after which it is deleted. You may ask us to remove your review at any time.
